Eric Ohlsen

Eric Ohlsen is a Security Policy Manager on Meta's Security Policy team, where he leads regulatory engagement across the Americas and Meta's work on measuring the impact of fraud and scams on its platforms. He has spent more than 20 years working on fraud, abuse, and adversarial threats, including at Amazon Web Services, where he led global payments fraud prevention strategy for compute services and crisis response, and as the founder of an investigations firm advising public officials, political campaigns, corporations, and fraud victims across North America and Europe. His work at Meta spans metrics and measurement strategy, engagement with regulators and industry coalitions, and anti-scam policy development. Eric is a Certified Fraud Examiner and is based in Washington, DC.
